Every Boy in this world might want a father who is a Celebrity, I was the luckiest. Growing up, my dad was my hero, and his impact on my life is immeasurable. I still remember the evenings he spent teaching me the basics of cricket or any sport for that matter. His patience and encouragement helped me overcome my difficulties and shortcomings. But it wasn’t just about the fun moments. During tough times, like when I struggled through school and college, dad always knew how to lift my spirits. Dad is very optimistic in his approach towards everything. His belief in me made all the difference in my everyday life.

Dad taught me the value of hard work. I vividly recall weekends spent helping him in the garden, cleaning his golf kit or for that matter cleaning his car or attending to other such chores. Enjoying the rain on a hot summer day together on our terrace was special! He would explain the importance of nurturing plants and how it mirrored life and growth takes time and effort. Those lessons have shaped my work ethics today. Through his actions, my father showed me the significance of kindness and integrity. For him his Family came first.

My dear mother would recall the pride on Dad’s face watching me play my first cricket match (on tv) in 2015 that brought tears to both their eyes! I am glad to give my best shot trying to make him proud whichever way I can.

When my  son Syed Zuhaan Ali Kirmani (now 4 years old) was born, Dad took to him in the most endearing and loving manner as indeed how doting grandfathers would, teaching him as he grew, a thing or 2 of everything from religious scriptures to all things cricket. Bowling a soft ball at him and teaching him to smash the ball which he did with great élan! Frequently the 3 of us would rollick around the house and have a lot of fun! Didn’t someone say that a baby has a way of making a man out of his father and a boy out of his grandfather!

In every way, my father has been a guiding light. His love and support have laid the foundation for who I am today, and I’m incredibly grateful for all the moments we’ve shared for now and beyond by God’s grace. I’ll conclude by saying No love is Greater than That of a Father for his Son. I will go on to say that the other way around is equally true. And I can see it around everywhere with my father, me and my son.

Love you, Dad! Keep inspiring! ♥️🥇 Long Live.

From Your Loving Son – *SYED MOHAMAD SADIQ HASSAN KIRMANI*
